Program Introduction
What is Excellent cultural Product Program?

The excellent cultural Product Program grants the “K-RIBBON” mark in the shape of a traditional Hanbok knot to excellent cultural products that possess Korea's unique cultural values. It is aimed at creating a “Korea Premium” concept through systematic management and brand marketing activities. Its implementation began in November 2015, and covers cultural products that can represent Korea, including Korean food, handicraft, Hanbok (traditional Korean dress), and cultural contents.

K-RIBBON Mark
The “K-RIBBON Mark” was designed through a re-interpretation of Ms. Jin Ah Choi’s piece called “The People of Han - We are Korea,” which won the Best Painted Work prize in the Search for Korean DNA. KOREA! Contest. Since November 2015, the mark, which is called the “K-RIBBON SELECTION” or “K-RIBBON,” has been granted to products designated as excellent cultural products.
