Overview
Woojeon is the highest grade of tea devoted to the kings for 1200 years from the Kingdom of Silla to the Late Period of the Joseon Dynasty. The ingredient is the tea leaves harvest from the area of Korea’s first tea cultivation (in 828 according to Samguk Sagi, or History of the Three Kingdoms). Woojeon has been designated as Korean Agricultural Heritage and Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO).
